KERRY SCHROEDER

Performing Artist

Kerry Schroeder began her dance training in ballet, jazz, and tap at the Orlando School of Dance in Schenectady, NY. She continued her dance training at Mercyhurst University, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a minor in Arts Administration, under the direction of Tauna Hunter. While at Mercyhurst, Kerry performed with The Mercyhurst Dancers and the Liturgical Dance Ensemble appearing in José Limon’s Waldstein Sonata and George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco. Kerry has appeared as a principal guest artist with the Lake Erie Ballet Company, performed with Ballet Concerto in Fort Worth, TX and is currently a member of modern and contemporary dance company, SoMar DanceWorks. In addition to a professional career in dance, Kerry plans to pursue a career in arts administration aspiring to make the arts more accessible to people of all demographics.
